God Has Got This

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

1 Peter 5:6-7 NIV

As men we are fixers. We like to fix our own and certainly everyone else's problems. In times where we don't know what to do, we can get anxious, moody, and sometimes even scared. Thank God for his word and the message above from Peter. Even in this unprecedented time, if we humble ourselves to God and cast all our worry and anxiety on him, he will take care of us. Not because he has to, but because he truly cares for us.

As we take comfort in putting this word into action, let's not forget to share from where our peace and our confidence comes. God has got this. Not just for us, but for anyone who will humble themselves and call on his name. Let's go be the salt and light to an anxious and scared world.
